Newtrality Takes on Peak Pursuit 2025: A Public Sector Challenge for Change
Newtrality team take on Peak Pursuit 2025
At Newtrality, we believe that meaningful transformation in the public sector happens when people come together with purpose and resilience. That’s why we were proud to take part in Peak Pursuit 2025 — part of the Public Sector Challenge series — an inspiring event that brings together hundreds of professionals committed to leadership, teamwork, and making a difference.
Why We Joined Peak Pursuit 2025
The Public Sector Challenge provides routes of varying difficulty through the stunning Peak District, encouraging collaboration, inclusion, and wellbeing across local government and wider public services.
For Newtrality, this aligns perfectly with our mission: helping local authorities and public bodies deliver sustainable change and transformation. Peak Pursuit 2025 reminded us that leadership isn’t just about strategy — it’s about shared experience, adaptability, and courage.
The Experience
Our team from Newtrality took on the Peak Pursuit route starting from Hope Showground, tackling the rolling terrain of Mam Tor, Win Hill, and Bamford Edge.
Alongside hundreds of other public sector professionals, we walked (and climbed!) for a common cause — raising awareness, funds, and morale across the sector.
Why Events Like This Matter
Events like Peak Pursuit 2025 highlight the resilience, inclusivity, and leadership potential across public service. The challenge raised significant funds for British Heart Foundation and Cancer Research UK — proof of what the sector can achieve when it moves with purpose.
At Newtrality, we see strong parallels between this and our work: helping public organisations find their route through complexity, climb the steep slopes of change, and reach new heights in leadership.
Looking Ahead
As a consultancy focused on public sector change and transformation, we’re proud to support initiatives like Peak Pursuit that embody teamwork, purpose, and public value.
We’ll definitely be back for the next Public Sector Challenge — and we hope to see even more leaders, councils, and teams joining us on the trail.
